Snack time is a must in our house. My toddler becomes a different child if her blood sugar levels fall, so we have to make sure she is constantly eating. This helps avoid tantrums and keeps everyone happy. My husband and I are so in tune with her needs, that we often forget about our own, and the fact that WE become different people when we don’t eat consistent meals. Snack time is a must, no matter how old you are, and HEALTHY snacking is even better!
My hubby and I love snacking on yogurt and easy, on-the-go snacks. This keeps us satiated until the next meal and also prevents overeating from being famished. We’ve tried fruit cups before, and my hubby will often take fruit cups with him to work, but when Dole came out with their Fruit Parfaits, I knew it was something he would really enjoy.
