It’s official! The summer is over and back to school season is about to start next week. You’ve shopped for the youngest members of your family and made sure they were fully prepared for the new school year, but don’t forget your pets. No, they aren’t going to school, but they can still pick up fleas, ticks, and other bloodsuckers well into the fall season. Although my cat never made the move with me and ended up staying at my mom’s house, I still see her nearly everyday. A few weeks ago my mom found the first signs of fleas on her and we needed to get rid of them quick. We shampooed her and decided it was time for a monthly regimen to keep the bloodsuckers away.
We received a three month supply of PetArmor and used one immediately. A full packet behind her neck is all she needs. So far, the fleas have not returned and she has been outside everyday. She isn’t an outdoor cat, but she does love to roam the back yard on nice days and sunbathe. This is usually where she picks up fleas from. Thankfully where we are we don’t have to worry about ticks too much, but the added security of knowing she won’t bring these critters into the house helps, especially when I bring my kids by to visit grandma.
Did you know that Deer ticks are around early October? They look for warm bodies to latch on to and can transmit Lyme Disease. They are most active from summer to fall and can be dangerous to both animals and humans. The best way to keep your pets safe is to take precautionary measures to keep these pests off your loved one.
PetArmor is an effective solution for flea and tick protection for both dogs and cats. It KILLS the four major types of ticks including those that carry Lyme disease. PetArmor contains the same No. 1 vet-recommended active ingredient Fipronil found in Frontline brand products, and provides the same protection against adult fleas and ticks but is available for significantly less. For more information about products that can protect your pet from fleas and ticks this fall visit PetArmor. Additional background information about ticks can be found at TickEncounter.

We have used PetArmor on our dogs for years. It’s so easy to use and my dogs have never had flies or ticks.
