I consider myself a really good gift giver. My gifts always have a lot of thought and a personal touch, and is usually something the receiver needs, wants, or will absolutely love. What I’m bad about- giving a card with that gift. I’m the worst card giver ever! I spend so much time and effort looking for the perfect gift that I usually forget to include the card. My husband laughs it off, stating that in the past 10 years he’s known me, he’s probably received a total of 5 cards. And to be totally honest, 3 of those 5 have been thanks to Cardstore. They make it easy to make and send cards, plus they offer reminders. Score!
I heard about Cardstore a few years ago when they were running a special on cards. That year I bought every single card I would need for the next 3 months. We had a handful of birthdays, baptisms, and two weddings. For the children’s birthday parties we attended, I created personalized birthday cards. Can I tell you that EVERY SINGLE thank you card I received from the parents included a special note that they loved the card. Their child’s name and age were on the card, not only showing effort and thought, but also creating a keepsake for that birthday. Now, when I tell you how little effort I actually put in to making those cards, you probably wouldn’t believe me!

Check out below how easy it was to create a Father’s Day card with my preschooler. No, really- it’s so easy a 4 year old can do it!
First, I showed her which tab to click for all Father’s Day cards. Then, we were able to sort our options by whether or not we wanted a personal picture, who the card would be from, and who was receiving it. Then, it was time to add a personal touch to the card. A heartfelt message, funny quote, or a special moment that made him the “best daddy ever” in her eyes. Then, a quick signature and a choice of who would send it- should it be delivered to the house for the same charge as a stamp, or should we receive it and have the kids give it to him? Simple choices and we are done! Easy peasy! She loved the SuperDad card and we were able to put a cute image of my husband in the front, and have a picture of her and her sister on the inside. The wording was already there for us, but we were able to change it around and add our own message.

I love personalized cards with kids pictures. I make one every year for my husband (from the kids).
