Potty training is always a daunting topic to a new parent, but I didn’t realize that even with my second child I would feel like throwing in the towel so soon. My second daughter, who just turned 2, has been showing us all the signs that she’s ready to potty train. She wakes up dry, shows interest in using the potty when she sees her big sister on it, and even asks to wear panties. We started the potty training process and failed a few months ago, but I think as soon as we get back from vacation we will start it full force. She will be potty trained before the summer is over (I hope).

There will be a fun twitter party on June 10th from 9-10pm EST where you can follow the conversation with the hashtag #PampersEasyUps. RSVP using this link and follow your hosts @DoubleDutyDivas, @BridgetteLA, @CeceliaMecca @AngieKcom @WhatMommiesNeed @RamblingChick, and our sponsor @Pampers.

Trying to get the child to understand the potty is where the poop goes..

I think consistency is hard. When you have a busy family, it’s not easy to keep to a routine.
Getting a VERY stuborn child to WANT to go!
I find it really hard to potty train my toddler now that I have a newborn. Trying to get my son on the potty every half hour and getting him to tell us when he needs to go is difficult.
The whole ordeal is challenging, but public restrooms are really hard…the automatic flushers can be scary for a little one.
The biggest challenge is getting your child to recognize the feeling of having to go before it’s too late!
My biggest challenge so far has been getting my daughter to not be scared of the potty.
I think the biggest challenge is to not expect too much of your child.
having the time to be consistent
patience and consistency are the hardest!
Night training. It’s difficult!
The hardest is keeping the baby interested in going on the big girl/boy potty.

The hardest is always at bedtime and whenever going out on errands.
getting my son to stay on the toilet long enough to pee he usually just jumps off. hes not ready yet.
trying to stay on track when you have to go out in public
Consistent are the hardest
The biggest challenger has been consistency and bedtimes. I thought for sure #2 would be the hardest but that was the easiest. He still isn’t consistent with peeing in the potty and I am struggling to get there.

Right now everything! My daughter won’t potty train.
My biggest challenge was potty training twins. Nothing seemed to work for the longest time.

For us it is going number 2 lol*
I think going out of the house is a challenge when I am potty training. It can sometimes be a big mess. Also, having them learn when they need to go, able to detect they need to go, instead of waiting till the last minute.

Being consistent with potty training and not lapsing back to diapers
I think the hardest would be when you have to run errands or go out for a bit.

The biggest challenge is when we’re out in public or in the car and my little one has to go RIGHT NOW!
Having a child overcome the fear part.

For my child it is withholding issues.
Knowing the proper time to start so neither of us is frustrated
When they go in their pants,……then..they tell you that they need to go potty.

The biggest challenge is not loosing your patience and to make sure kids knows it is okay to have an accident.

Night time is the biggest challenge, especially when they don’t want to wear a diaper anymore!

The biggest challenge is patience.
for me it has been getting my son to poop in the toliet, he has peeing down but calls it “poop” poor little guy
I think that the hardest for me is getting my daughter into a routine.
She only wants to go when she fells like going (like it’s a chore) and when she doesnt want to go she wants to be able to just be changed.

I think the biggest challenge is the parent keeping patience to encourage the child.
the biggest challenge is staying patient
The biggest challenge is making sure that they do not discouraged.
I think this biggest challenge is Parents being patient with there child because each and every child learns at their own pace.
Getting them to tell you in time they have to go.
Being consistent when not at home.
Knowing that your child is ready
Getting a good routine down outside of the house
the hardest part for my in the past was getting my son to stop being lazy and go use the potty when he had to go
I have three sons and I’ve found that the hardest thing about potty training is being consistent on MY end. If you’re in a store or out somewhere, it is really easy to just stick a diaper on them so you don’t have to stop what you’re doing to take the kid potty. Thank you for the opportunity to win.
The hardest part of potty training is consistency it is so easy to get distracted and then the accidents happen
Being consistent is important with potty training. I have used potty charts in the past with my children, and my daughter is trying it with her son.

I think the biggest challenge is holding your child’s Attention… that is why I would read a book and give them a dixie cup of water and then the would go while listening to a story book.
a stubborn child wants to go on it sometimes then refuses too the next time .
my biggest challenge is being patient. i have a tendency to get frustrated.
I think being consistent is my biggest challenge
Accidents and frustration …
