I live in my sneakers, so as you can imagine, they wear out pretty quick. A good pair of sneakers is a must, because I have back and knee problems and need all the support I can get for my feet. There are a few companies that I always seek out when I am in the market for new shoes, and one of them is Reebok.
Reebok is a brand that seems to have been around forever. I remember when I was a kid, Reeboks were the sneakers to have! Fast forward decades later and they are still a popular sneaker offering value, support, and style. If you know me personally, then you know that I rarely wear colorful sneakers. As a matter of fact, for the past 10 years all my sneakers have been black, with the exception of a really cute beige pair of sneakers I just had to have. I love that black sneakers go with everything and don’t have that “sporty” look to them. Remember- I live in my sneakers, so I wear them for just about everything and need them to look good even when I am going out to a nice dinner with the family. (Don’t worry, I’m not a complete fashion faux pas – I DO step it up a notch when I attend special events and break out the heels!)
So, when Reebok sent me on a shopping spree at Famous Footwear, I knew exactly what color of sneaker I was going for – black. The one pair of all black Reeboks didn’t suit my style and the pink flare on another black pair of sneakers called my name. I’m not a girlie girl and never liked pink, but after having two daughters, pink just naturally becomes a part of a tomboy’s life.
From all the styles, these are the three that I narrowed it down to. I tried them all on at the store, and although I loved the fit of the first pair the most, I liked the color of the middle pair but I actually purchased the last pair because I felt they had a similar fit to the first and offered the colors of the second. The only problem I had was actually getting the size I needed in the store. While they felt comfortable, I felt I could take a half size bigger, thanks to my previous pregnancy which made my feet grow! The store didn’t have my size and I had to order them online at Famous Footwear.
On top of having a comfortable fit, I got a great deal, saving almost 50% on my Reebok sneakers. Regular price was $69.99 and I paid 34.99. Plus, Famous Footwear usually has a Buy One Get One 50% off deal. My husband and I typically shop at Famous Footwear at the end of the summer so we can both get new sneakers for the fall. The Buy One Get One 50% off deal works best for our family of 4. We can all get new shoes at a great value!
You can check out all the Reebok styles here! Plus, be sure to check out what I thought of the sneakers here!

If you’re a sneakers mom, then I’m a rubber shoes mom. I go out almost everyday wearing my “different brand” of rubber shoes. 🙂 I always go for comfort instead of style and being a mom of 2 girls age 2 and 5, my time of wearing strappy high heeled sandals are almost gone. 😀 So I choose my rubber shoes instead of sandals because I find it easier to keep up with my 2 girls. Love your review and next time, I would try Reebok’s rubber shoes. 🙂
