Brrr! It’s really getting cold out there! When my first baby was born, she was still in her infant car seat during the winter months, so it was easy to keep her warm without bulky clothing in her car seat. I used the JJ Cole BundleMe in her car seat, which kept her warm, safely. With baby #2, I estimated that she would have still been in her infant car seat this winter, but due to discomfort from her fractured clavicle, we had to switch her to the regular car seat. She is of course still rear facing, but the larger car seat kept her in a more comfortable position. Moving up to the Britax Boulevard meant that I would no longer be able to use the JJ Cole BundleMe in her car seat, but I still use it in the stroller.
I don’t bundle her in the car, but I do make sure she always has a hat and mittens on to keep her warm.
