When I was a teacher, I loved watching my students get involved and find ways to give back to their community. It’s not so much about DOING as much as it is about WANTING to do, so it’s really special when children find a cause that interests them and help out. This is just what Lulu Cerone did. At 10 years old, Lulu took it upon herself to create and organize a school wide fundraiser to help the Earthquake victims in Haiti. Together, the students raised over $4,000!
Lulu is 14 now and still finding ways to inspire those around her to give back. She caught the eye of a popular tween brand, Monster High, and together they will be hosting a Philanthro-party from April 14-June 9, where children have a chance to win $1,000 cash donation to the cause of their choice.
More info on the “Ghouls Helping Ghouls™” Skullership:
- Fans are asked to submit a short description and photo around how they most represent the spirit of “Ghouls Helping Ghouls,” through Philanthro-parties.
- Fans may enter the contest by visiting Ghouls Helping Ghouls and following the rules for submission.
