Last month I wrote up a post about starting a new skincare regimen. I had the opportunity to work with Meaningful Beauty and test out their 5-step treatment over the past 30 days. My goal was to have a more uniform appearance in my skin, get rid of the dry spots and smooth out the skin around my eyes. Yes, it sounds like I need more of a time machine than a magical beauty regimen, but with access to so many great skin care products, anything is worth a shot at this point. After all, I am still under 30 and would love to be on a “preventative regimen” than have to reverse the signs of aging later on.
So, you may be wondering what (or IF) changes occurred over the past few weeks as a result of using Meaningful Beauty. Well, I can tell you that my dry winter skin is gone. My skin was painfully dry from the winter, even though we had a mild one this year. I felt like my skin was paper thin and each time I would clean it, I would feel the burn. The moisturizing properties in Meaningful Beauty really worked well for my skin.
Did I notice a change in dark spots? No. But I’m not sure that Meaningful Beauty was meant to address the dark spots. What I did notice was that my skin had more of a healthful glow to it. This could also be due to the fact that moisture was restored and my skin was no longer dry. The lifting eye cream helped soften the “always sleepy” look I have in my eyes, but didn’t completely get rid of it, I think a full night of sleep would help, but that is something I have to take up with my toddler.
Remember – there is no MIRACLE solution out there that will completely transform your skin without cosmetic surgery. While I am VERY pleased with my results with Meaningful Beauty, there are limitations to these regimens. I also feel that since I had great results so far in the past 30 days, I’m sure if I continued to use Meaningful Beauty, I may have a shot at maintaining a youthful appearance in my skin. Not all skincare regimens are created the same, and there isn’t one solution for everyone. In my case, I was happy with the results of the Meaningful Beauty regimen and would love to continue using it because it keeps my skin moisturized and smooth.
Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a test drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Meaningful Beauty and received a 5-step treatment kit to facilitate my review, a second 5-step treatment kit to giveaway, and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
I saw the infomercial for this and I was blown away. Immediately I thought that I had to have it. However I decided that I could not afford it. But reading your post, maybe I will reconsider. I mean, we all want to look like Cindy Crawford, right? 🙂
I have seen the infomercials too. It looked great, but can you really trust infomercials? It is nice to hear someone’s personal experience and it sounds like this line was actually pretty good! Thank you for the review.
