Living in the Big Apple, my family has the opportunity to attend some amazing on and off-Broadway shows all year round. My kids started attending shows as young as 3 years old, and they look forward to revisiting some of their old favorites as well as checking out something new. Since NYC is a top tourist destination during the holidays, I wanted to share two shows that are great for the family.
The first show is one I’ve taken my kids to and they’ve been talking about it ever since- The Gazillion Bubble Show. I think children of all ages can enjoy bubbles, and this highly interactive show takes place in a small theater where children have the opportunity to be part of the show! My middle daughter was called up on stage and walked away with a fun prize. My son still tells people that he loved the “bubble show” that had a “bajillion bubbles everywhere!”
My oldest is 10 years old now, and while she enjoyed the Gazillion Bubble Show, we wanted to expand her views of Broadway shows. I really think she will enjoy The Lightning Thief is something my girls would really enjoy because they are learning about Ancient Greek Gods and how they relate to our own faith and views as Greek descendants.
My girls are already familiar with Poseidon and his role as the god of the ocean, but they aren’t quite familiar with Percy Jackson, Poseidon’s son. We will be checking out this show real soon, and I will be sure to let you know our thoughts.
In the meantime, you can enter to win a family 4 pack of tickets for EACH show! There will be a giveaway form for each show individually, so be sure to fill out the form for the show you are trying to win tickets for.
