It’s been a few weeks since I started a new skin care regimen. The Olay Regenerist Luminous system which consist of a facial wash, cream, and eye serum is an easy regimen to follow and can be used twice a day for optimal results.
The first two things I noticed about each product was the scent and the texture. The facial wash doesn’t suds up, but you can tell it works because every little speck of makeup is off your face when you are done cleansing. The cleanser has a light vanilla scent, which is not my favorite scent (although it is my favorite flavor-but don’t eat the cleanser!) The micro beads are just that- micro. There is no harsh cleansing so your skin doesn’t dry out from using the Olay Regenerist Luminous Brightening Cream Cleanser twice a day. After using it my skin looked healthy and clean, even after the first time.
The next step was the Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream. I loved the scent of this moisturizer! It was luscious and smooth. My skin felt hydrated after and not sticky- which is a problem I have with some moisturizers. I need to be able to apply a foundation over my moisturizer, so this is a perfect cream for a daily routine that won’t leave you greasy or sticky. The texture is just right. With antioxidants, vitamin E, green tea, and OliveM™ technology, you have a great combination of ingredients to promote healthy and even skin tone. Olay says after 2 weeks your skin will look visibly younger and after 8 weeks dark spots and discoloration fade away. I’ve only been using it for 2 weeks and my skin looks more moisturized and clearer. My skin also FEELS more moisturized. The harsh winter did a number on my skin, and this was a great way to get those dry patches smoother.
Along with the moisturizer, the Olay Regenerist Luminous Dark Circle Correcting Hydraswirl promises to instantly brighten and illuminate your skin, reducing the appearance of dark circles. The skin under my eyes is the most sensitive, and during the cold winter it actually stings from the dry skin. Keeping that area hydrated is key for me, and adding a serum that will rid me of the horrible dark circles I wake up with is always an added benefit.

Love these products, especially the eye cream. I have noticed a remarkable difference under my eyes. The dark circles are barely noticeable now!
Winter can be brutal on our skin, so I am glad to hear that you found a moisturizer, and skincare system, to fit your needs.
I haven’t tried this skin care routine. It looks like some great products. I’ll have to try it.
