Adult acne. I have nothing nice to say. After a few teenage years of being tormented by painful breakouts, and finally outgrowing it in my early twenties, I thought I was over this phase of my life. My skin cleared up completely when I was pregnant and nursing, but acne is back again with a vengeance. When you go for a facial and the esthetician is stumped on how to treat your skin, you know you’ve got a problem. Going back to the dermatologist that treated me as a teen isn’t on my priority list because the prescription products I used were drying and irritating. I’m not doing that again.
So it was time to take matters into my own hands. I decided to start simple, go old school, and use a product that was easily available at my local drugstore that didn’t require a prescription. Clearasil is a name in acne treatment that has been around forever. They have two new facial washes- Ultra Rapid Action Daily Gel Wash and Hydra- Blast Oil-Free Face Wash which both work quickly to clear your skin and rid breakouts. In just two weeks, my skin is already visibly clearer, not as red, and the painful big breakouts are virtually gone. Even my 5 year old noticed my clearer skin, which gives me even more motivation to keep those breakouts at bay. Check out my progress over the course of 3 weeks:

There is no scripted regimen to follow, and I use my normal moisturizer under my makeup. Using the Clearasil cleansers intermittently are effective and convenient, since I can quickly wash my face in the shower and go on with my day. You can find out my by visiting Clearasil on the web and follow them on Facebook and Twitter for current product information and promotions.
Now when people comment on how young I look, I know they aren’t talking about my acne!
My son uses Clearasil at times and he says it really helps him with his acne problem. I like that it does not cost a lot of money! This picture shows a lot of improvement!
