The first thing my girls ask for in the morning is smoothies. They love picking out their ingredients and watching everything swirl together in a frothy, sweet drink that I couldn’t be happier their would drink. Sometimes, when they aren’t looking, I even get to throw in some baby kale or spinach and tell them it’s a magical mixture!
It wasn’t always so easy to make perfect smoothies. When I had my first daughter, I had a typical, run of the mill blender which pretty much left a chunky mess that may have tasted good but didn’t have the right texture. We tried a juicer but I was annoyed that the bulk of the fruits and veggies for our smoothies would be caught in the shredder, never making it into our drink. My oldest has texture issues- too chunky and she hates it, so we needed a powerful food processor that could keep the nutrients in our smoothies while leaving us with the smoothest smoothies.
I had a full size Ninja blender which is great for parties and making drinks in large batches, but for smaller portions and individualized drinks, the Nutri Ninja was a great fit. Our morning routines start with everyone choosing their fruits for their smoothies, and then I sneak in some greek yogurt and veggies, and everyone has a nutritious start to their day. The best part? Cleanup is a breeze because all the pieces (except for the motor) are dishwasher safe! Here is what’s included in the NutriNinja package:
- 900 watt motor and Pro Extractor Blades
- 18 oz. and 24 oz. Single Serve Cups
- 2 Sip & Seal Lids – for individual, no leak, nutrient-complete drinks on the go
- 30 recipes and a wellness guide
- Compact design for easy storage
- BPA free, dishwasher safe and microwave safe
The Nutri Ninja retails at $89 and can be purchased by visiting NutriNinja.com, along with other retailers nationwide.
This would make a perfect gift for my husband.
I would love to have one of these, I love smoothies and am very good about making them healthy but every once in a while, it is just good to have something yummy regardless of the calories and one smoothie I like to make is with Breyer’s vanilla bean ice cream and then crunch up a York Peppermint pattie in it and blend. It is so good, and you know what, the York peppermint patty is one of the lower in calorie snacks when it comes to chocolate so try one! 🙂
I love my full size ninja. wORKs wonderful
We love smoothies but I don’t make them often because I don’t have the right equipment to make them good. this Nutri Ninja sure would great to have.
We love strawberry banana smoothies. They’re great for breakfast, snack or even dessert.

I’m a big fan of smoothies and would love to make my own at home with my own fresh ingredients! This would be great to have!
