Everyone around me knows how picky I have become when it comes to baby care products. There are some companies that just aren’t allowed in our home, and products that I used for a while and stopped because ingredients were changed. Babies are born pure and perfect, so the products we use on them should be too. Whether it’s our daily bath wash, our nightly massage cream, or now that summer is coming up- our bug repellant or sunscreen; all these products I use on my children have been thoroughly scrutinized for chemicals I don’t want near them. Just last week I was walking through the aisles of Target and spotted Acure Baby care products. They caught my eye because I had recently heard about them from a local blogging event. The large “organic” logo along with the vibrantly colored bottles make Acure products hard to miss. As I turned the products around I can clearly understand the ingredients that go into Acure Baby products.
The Acure Baby product line has everything you need to clean, soothe, moisturize, and protect baby’s skin. My little guy has horribly dry skin and often breaks out in rashes on his cheeks from drooling. Acure’s ‘all better balm’ is one of those lotions I can see myself often turning to for minor rashes, dry skin, and as an intense moisturizer. It has a light orange smell that is delightful- even my 6 year old loves it! She uses it on her eczema-chapped hands. It soothes her cracked skin and tickles her senses each time she uses it.
For bath time my kids usually use the same bath products- with the exception of an added conditioner for the girls. Acure’s ‘bare baby 4-in-1’ wash is perfect for the whole family from head to toe. It’s fragrance free formula won’t irritate baby or sensitive skin, and having just one product for everyone makes my bathroom a lot neater.
My little guy is pampered after each bath with a massage. I started this ritual from the very beginning because his skin is very dry. The Acure ‘yummy baby lotion’ has a great consistency and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky residue behind. This scent didn’t entice me as much as the ‘all better balm’ but that’s just my opinion- someone else might find the light vanilla citrus scent to be delicious, you’ll just have to try it out for yourself!
At the playground my mommy friends often call me the prepared one because I always have a small first aid kit with me, as well as snacks, and miscellaneous items. If someone forgets their sunscreen, they know I have extra. I love the Acure ‘Baby’s Day Out’ sticks because they are portable and contain a little of everything we need on our trips to the park- sunscreen, booboo cream, and bug repellant.
