My toddler can’t wait until the next episode of Octonauts is on. Her favorite character is Kwazii, and when asked what the Octonauts is about, she explains, “Octonauts help creatures and sometimes get slime on them.” Very straight and to the point, yet precise! So,  you can imagine the look on her face when she found out that Fisher Price makes Octonauts toys!

Each toy in the Fisher Price Disney Octonauts line makes you feel like you are part of the show. The Octopod is a must have toy which lets you go on imaginary deep sea adventures. It even has fun phrases from the show, which makes your child feel like they are in on the action. You can set up the characters in various places on the Octopod.

There are also accessory packs which are sold separately from the Octopod and some can be used in the water for bath time fun! I took these toys out for the first time during a play date and the kids had a blast playing, although there was a lot of drama surrounding the Octopod and who got to play with it. Octonauts seem to be hot this year, so keep these fun toys in mind when shopping for the next toddler birthday or even for the holidays. I know what you might be thinking – it’s too early for holidays! And my response is, No, it’s not too early! The hottest toys are always the ones that are hard to find during the holidays, so if Octonauts are on your list, snag them when you find them!

All in all we love the Octonauts toys from Fisher Price. Creative play is an essential part in development and learning and these toys foster that.
