Puppet Monsters Review (#Giveaway)

When I have the TV on I always dread the commercials. I’m constantly hearing, “Mommy I want thaaaaaat!” or “Mommy…..can you get that for me?”. Once, my 3 year-old actually asked me to buy him a professional picture hanging system. I tried to explain that this commercial wasn’t for a toy but he wasn’t convinced. So, when my boys saw the commercial for Puppet Monsters I was happy they were interested in something age appropriate and creative.

We received the red Puppet Monster “Dizzy Antlers”. My 4 year-old has pretty much adopted him as his pet, and my 3 year-old has since requested the pink “Twinkley Eyes” Monster so he can have his own Monster friend. We opened the box yesterday after dinner and my son has been playing with it ever since. He wears his monster on his head like a hat and puts his fingers in the little pockets on the Puppet’s hands so he can animate Dizzy Antlers. Even my baby girl was squealing with delight to see her big brother with a Monster on his head!

One of the nicest aspects of Puppet Monsters is that you can mix and match accessories. The pieces are easy to attach and remove and each Puppet Monster comes with a little soft bag for accessory storage. The more accessories you have, the more creative the kids can be with Monster design. Everything is machine washable as well! The kids have seen the commercial on TV a few times and want to reenact all the silly scenes with our Monster.

This morning I heard my 4 year-old get out of bed, but when he was almost to our room I heard him scamper back down the hall. He quickly came back and had his Puppet Monster on his head. “Good morning Daddy! Did I scare you?” he said with a huge grin on his face.
