Time waits for no one, and as I’m getting my last baby ready for his first day of school, I’m reminded of that. Signing him up for school gave me mixed emotions- I was excited to socialize him and have him make friends. I felt it was my ticket to 4 hours of peace and quiet to get the house in order. It was bittersweet, for sure, because I know my time raising babies is over, and now I have 3 big kids in the hands of other people. Time flies, but I can’t let my feelings get in the way of my kids’ excitement for the new school year.
I know my son, being as close to me as he is, may have a hard time adjusting to a new school routine. As he watched his big sisters get ready for their new routines, he asked to be part of the action. He wanted a superhero backpack and accessories, so when we received a box of PJ Masks themed products for back to school, he was excited that he had something just for himself. The 10″ PJ Masks Mini backpack from Accessory Innovations is a perfect size for his small 3-year-old frame. After all, he’s not carrying more than a notebook back and forth to school.
Along with the backpack he received a PJ Masks t-shirt from Happy Threads and some fun activities that are great reinforcements for kids who may have a hard time adjusting to their first week of school. A cupcake set was also included in our package, and I have so many ideas for this set. Perhaps a fun Saturday morning of baking to celebrate the first week of school in the books? Or maybe an after-school surprise? These would also be great for school birthday parties!
The PJ Masks color and sticker activity sets are great for on the go fun, or a little something to brighten my little guy’s day. I like to keep sets like this in the car or in my purse to have on hand for that impromptu restaurant trip or doctor’s office activity.
