Ever since I became pregnant with my first baby and banned from the NYC night scene, family game nights started in my home. I was fortunate to have some friends and relatives that had no problem spending a Friday evening in playing games, but in reality I think they just came for the great food that this preggo was craving and serving! I was always a horrible Scrabble player, so that game would never come out of the closet. I’m very good with vocabulary and spelling, but creating words out of jumbled letters just isn’t my thing. I do, however, love a good competition, and this is where Hasbro games comes in.
The latest in Family Game Night fun from Hasbro is the new Scrabble Catch Phrase. This addicting version of Scrabble has you competing with your friends to try and guess each other’s phrase. You have a time limit, so things get heated up real quick! It’t not too much like the original Scrabble, since you don’t have to create words, but more like a charades game where you have to guess the other person’s word. This is probably why I love the game so much! I don’t have to worry about figuring out a lengthy word from a bunch of letters. The more people you play with, the more fun the game is! There are 5 categories to choose from: Entertainment, Everyday Life, Fun & Games, The World, and Variety. Scrabble Catch Phrase is recommended for ages 8 and up.
You can purchase Scrabble Catch Phrase at Amazon (it’s on sale right now) or you can win your very own Scrabble Catch Phrase- just in time for the holidays! Just fill out the rafflecopter form below:

I love game nights, but I have to bribe and coerce my family to play with me.
