My daughter has come down with horrible allergies. Since it is her first year in school, I didn’t know what to do. I know that although allergy meds may help, they also make her too sleepy to function. Knowing that her teacher wouldn’t want a sneezing, coughing, runny nose toddler around other kids, I decided to keep her home. The second day I had to send her because I really can’t keep her home with allergies, but I was fully aware that some parents and even her teacher might think she had a contagious cold instead of just seasonal allergies.
That morning, I sent her in to school with a box of Kleenex and a note to her teacher. A simple “thank you” followed when she received the gift bag with the tissues, but after school she came to speak with me and told me that she appreciated the extra supply of tissues. She went on to tell me that their budgets are limited and in preschool, there are always a few kids with a runny nose at any given time, so the Kleenex would come in hand. This simple, inexpensive gesture put a smile on someone’s face and taught my tot the importance of thinking of other people.
A few days later I found out about Kleenex Brand Care Packs which includes a small box of tissues, a travel pack of tissues, nose and lip balm, coupons, and hand sanitizer. This is the perfect gift set to send to someone who may need some well wishes, or in our case, needed some extra tissues to have on hand. By purchasing any specially marked Kleenex product, you can head over to the Kleenex site and enter your code to send a care pack to someone special. You can also find out more by connecting with Kleenex on Facebook! I received three care packs and I will be giving one to three ladies in my life: my mom, mother in law, and grandma. I was a little nosey and HAD to see what was in them, so I opened one. You can see in the picture above what is included!
I wrote this review while participating in an ambassador program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of the Kleenex brand and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate
