You’d think that it would be easier to send your second baby off to school after experiencing this milestone with your first. I can tell you first hand, I think I’m more anxious about the start of school than my second daughter. I like the idea of sending her for a few hours so she’s out of the house- playing, socializing, and learning, but as these moments roll in it’s just a reminder that time is flying by way too quick.
One thing both my girls have enjoyed so far about back to school season is picking out new things- supplies, bags, shoes, and clothing. There’s nothing like the freshness of all the new items for that first day of school. Since my little one will only be in school a few days a week for half a day, she won’t need a standard size backpack. I love the smaller backpacks that can accommodate only her necessities- a notebook and a lovey, if necessary. The Lassig Wildlife Mini Backpack isn’t as mini as you may think, but is big enough for a preschooler who doesn’t require textbooks or folders. I love that it doesn’t overpower her small 3 year old frame, and she can easily carry it. Plus, it comes in various adorable designs your little one will love.
My daughter chose the Wildlife Elephant design which comes with the Mini Backpack and lunch bag. It’s a perfect set for preschool. The insulated lunch bag can hold her water, a snack, and her lunch. Let’s hope she actually EATS in school, but that’s a post for another day!
Sending her off that first day won’t be easy at all, but I know she will love it. You can find out more about Lassig products by visiting HABA USA and connecting with them on social media- Facebook and Twitter.
These packs are super adorable! I just love the cute elephant!
