I never thought my kids would become completely obsessed with Despicable Me. It started off as a lazy Saturday about a year ago. Despicable Me happened to be on TV. There was something about the adorable 3 girls and Gru, but the Minions took the cake. My girls were hooked and there was no going back. They were minion obsessed. Fast forward a year later and they couldn’t wait to see Despicable Me 2. All over NYC, the taxi cabs sported the Despicable Me 2 ads and my preschooler just couldn’t get enough. She wanted to see the movie and it had to be ASAP. Once we received our copy of Despicable Me 2 on BluRay/DVD, my girls were in love. They couldn’t take their eyes off the screen for a minute, and have been asking to watch the movie EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. My family just watched Despicable Me for the first time last weekend. It was adorable. Now, we can’t wait to watch Despicable Me 2 – guess I need to go out and buy it.

This was the first film my 4 year old ever sat through all the way (in the theater). That’s a miracle! I can’t wait to get him the DVD so he can enjoy it at home as well.
I can’t get over how stinkin’ cute these little guys are. The kids asked me the other day if I would get a minion tat. LOL
