My toddler started her first year of school and it has been quite a transition for both of us. For me, it meant letting go and trusting my baby to someone else. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this, as I had a nanny taking care of her from the time she was 8 weeks until 9 months. I was a mess for those 7 months and was so happy when I became a stay at home mom.
To make her transition a little easy, I packed her fun lunches and cut out kitty shaped sandwiches and star shaped watermelon. She loved the surprise each time she opened her lunch box and found heart shaped cupcake holders full of fun surprises, and when I would pick her up after school, she would always tell me how much she loved her surprise!

Triangle Sunbutter and Applebutter sandwich with raisins and frozen edamame (she loves the crunch when they are frozen)
Preschool opened the door to some exciting things for my toddler, such as making new friends, establishing a sense of community, experiencing new wonders, and learning new things. Sharing is probably the biggest lesson children of this age learn, but I was proactive about teaching her how to share and what sharing meant. When we had playdates, I would use a kitchen timer to count down how long each child had to play with a toy. I was impressed that my toddler was willing to share after a few times trying this method, and it is something that she does everyday now that she has a younger sibling.
Although my toddler may have some issues sharing, just like a typical 3 year old would, I feel that she has a good basis to work off of when she is older. When we received three KleenexCares care packages, I let my toddler decide who would be getting them. I already knew who she would pick: both grandmas and her great grandma. Aside from myself, these three women are the most influential in her life. I also know that Kleenex, especially this time of year, should be shared! When you experience something great, the best thing you can do is share it with others!
You can share Kleenex with someone special to you by purchasing a Kleenex brand bundle pack and redeeming the code on the box at KleenexCares. What better way to show someone you care?!? You can find out more about the KleenexCares program by visiting Kleenex on Facebook.
I wrote this review while participating in an ambassador program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of the Kleenex brand and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
