It has been quite a week. My oldest started to feel a little sick on Sunday, and by Monday she sounded much worse. Her doctor was confused by her symptoms- fluid in her lungs, but no fever. He didn’t seem too worried, prescribed albuterol inhalation and sent us home. By Friday she was worse and time for antibiotics. This kid can’t catch a break! We thought after having her tonsils removed she would feel so much better, but since she doesn’t get strep anymore it just seems that she gets everything else now. I have to admit, having her home once in a while is nice. We rarely get one on one time anymore, and I remember the easy days of it being just me and her. I love our big family, but having each child to myself for a few hours a day is a treat for us both!
Since we couldn’t really leave the house with her awful cough, we got to stay home and snuggle doing what we love best- playing video games! Nintendo sent over a fun New Years gift box which included a puzzle, which we might be working on til the summer, a MarioKart car, an amiibo, and the new Nintendo 3DS game- Mario Party Star Rush.
