Both of my daughters are nurturers. My oldest loves baby animals and spends many hours pretend playing animal hospital. My youngest loved baby dolls. Where ever we go she seeks out realistic looking dolls to cradle and hold. She shares her food, bottles, and pacifiers with her baby dolls and will often watch tv and rock her baby. She started this when she was just 12 months old, which just proves to me that even babies know that babies need to be loved, cared for and nurtured.
My youngest daughter just received the new Nenuco Sleep with Me Cradle doll which comes with a bassinet so she can sleep right next to my daughter. There is also a place just for the doll’s pacifier and bottle in her cradle! Now, I should put a disclaimer out there that the Sleep with me Cradle is intended for children 3+, so my toddler is never unattended when she uses it. I’m more fearful that she will try to climb into the bassinet herself, so I haven’t attached it to her toddler bed yet, but she does play with it all the time without being attached in the living room, where I can see her. Since it is not only in her room, my oldest often uses the bassinet to “change” her baby animals when she is playing with them. It’s nice to see the girls playing together with the same toys, at two years apart. When it comes to toys I like things that have a long life span and my kids can play with for many years, especially when there are two of them and they can each get plenty of use out of the toys. Once my youngest is old enough, I will put the cradle in her room where she can have her baby sleep next to her.

This is very cute, has everything a mommy in training needs, I like that they added the little star night light and any little girl is going to love having her baby close by at night. Thank you for sharing.

That is so cute – I wish I had a little girl on my gift list to buy this for – alas they are all to old or they’re boys!
