Boys and girls alike love Sofia the First! My friend has two sons who sing and dance to Sofia’s songs, and although their dad didn’t approve at first, he quickly jumped on the Sofia bandwagon as well! What’s not to love? Sofia is an ordinary girl going through many changes in her life including a new step family, new home, new school, and new friends. Sure, she is living a seemingly fairy tail life, but we all know that beneath the tiara lies a very down to earth girl who teaches life lessons.
My girls both stop what they are doing when Sofia is on. Each time they see a Sofia the First toy in a store, they have to have it! This holiday season I have a feeling Sofia the First toys will be hot and I have a review for one of our favorites!
We received the talking Sofia doll set which includes three animal friends from the show. My oldest daughters’ favorite is Clover, the blue ribbon bunny. When you bring one of the included friends close to Sofia’s amulet, they talk! The amulet lights up and will also repeat phrases when pushed. My preschooler who doesn’t like to play by herself sits at her table and creates stories and uses her imagination. Now that’s my kind of toy! Anything that can keep her entertained for more than 10 minutes at a time is a win in my book!
