Have you ever tried to change the diaper of a squirmy baby? Ever since my baby has discovered sitting up, changing her has been a mission. Now that is walking, it’s become even harder keeping her still long enough to get her diaper off, cleaned, and back on. I often find that if I do happen to get her diaper on while she is squirming, it is not fastened properly.
I always say that we are a Huggies family, but I guess I hadn’t really lived up to that title since I never tried Huggies Little Movers Slip On diapers. By the time these diapers hit the shelves, my older daughter was in Pull Ups. Now that my little one is on the go and walking, she is at the right age for Huggies Little Movers Slip On diaper pants. Every time I saw the commercial with the baby who wouldn’t sit still long enough for a diaper change, it reminded me of my little one! I was excited to put them to the test.
As a Huggies user, I have tried ALL their diapers (except Slip Ons) and can easily use everything from their product line. While I love Little Movers the most, if I find a great deal on Snug & Dry or Pure & Natural, I will purchase them – but Little Movers are my favorite. I love the flexible gussets and soft feel of Little Movers, so I was happy to see that Slip Ons were Little Movers, but with already fastened tabs. Which brings me to my next point: How can Slip Ons be effective if the straps are already fastened and not adjustable? The super-stretchy sides ensure a perfect fit every time! No need to adjust straps, and if you have a baby on the move, then this is one step you can do without.
At the next diaper change I decided to try out Little Movers Slip Ons and see if they live up to the hype. The diapers slipped on just as easily as a pair of pants – even with a fidgety baby. It still took some work to get the diaper on my baby, but I was able to skip the step of adjusting tabs and making sure everything was straight. My advice: Just as with ANY diaper, make sure the leg gussets are around the legs and not bunched in the middle. Although I have not experienced any leaks with Slip Ons, I can see that being a problem with a baby that moves around too much while trying to put on a diaper.
Since Huggies Little Movers Slip Ons still have easy open and close tabs, you can still change your bub the traditional way if they are sleeping. Also – if you have ever changed your baby standing up – you know, like in the corner of a zoo, or other places that aren’t changing-table friendly, Slip Ons are THE diaper to have on hand. It is so much easier to change your baby standing up with a diaper that doesn’t need to be adjusted. This is the #1 thing I love about Slip Ons! They are best for on the go changes and really do make your life that much easier! (remember: no tabs to adjust!)
And, just as any Huggies diapers out there, you can trust that they will keep your baby dry. With ultimate leak protection and flexible movement, you can be sure your little one is comfy!

I don’t have any babies anymore (cry) but those look pretty awesome!
These look great!
I love Huggies slip ons! So much better than pull-ups.
My favorite were the Little Movers too but right before my dude switched to Pull-Ups we tried these & liked them!
My nephew could definitely use these. Getting him to lie still for even a quick 30 second diaper change is a huge ordeal.
Great brand!
My son was such a squirmy baby for diaper changes. Wish I would have had these.
Huggie’s was the only brand that worked for my daughter.
Wiggly babies certainly are tricky to keep from soiling your furniture 🙂
