State Farm’s Neighborhood Assist Program Helps Communities!

Even before I was a teacher, I would try to get involved in community service as much as possible. It has been an interest of mine since my mom took me to a children’s hospital when I was a kid to hold a luncheon for the children and their parents, and to pass out gifts. After that experience, I felt very strongly about helping out where I could. Since it is hard to help out financially, there are so many other ways to contribute. Most recently, my toddler helped me pack away personal goods for a local women’s shelter. We do this every 3 months, and each time I explain to her that we are helping out people who do not have as much as we have. I hope that this experience can be as valuable to her as it was to me.

State Farm insurance is a company that has been behind me since day one. From my first car, then on to my second, and third, and everything else that needed insuring in my life. I feel as strongly about them as I do any other relationship I have, because they are always there when I need them. I’m so happy to see that a company I have used for over a decade is also helping out communities across the nation with their State Farm Neighborhood Assist program.
