When it comes to the things I tote around with me, I waiver on minimalist and over-prepared mom. At the playground- I’m THAT mom that has a mini first aid kit if your kid falls and gets a booboo. I bring along extra snacks to share, and change of clothes for whatever the day may bring. But some days, you will catch me with a wristlet, only holding what I absolutely need for that moment- my phone, license, a credit card, and enough cash to buy an iced coffee, and nothing more. You can say I like living on the edge sometimes.
Now with a new baby on the way, I’ve fallen back into the over-prepared mom mode. In a few weeks, I will have 3 kids 5 and under with various needs when it comes to outings. My oldest just needs a water bottle and a snack. My soon to be middle child- a change of clothes, water, and sometimes a 3 course meal. My newborn will need diapers, wipes, 2-3 changes of clothes, burp clothes, blanket, nursing cover, possibly a bottle, binkies, and I’m sure a few other things I’m forgetting to mention here. So basically, a rolling carry on suitcase is in the cards for a mom of 3? It doesn’t have to be!

The TWELVElittle Companion backpack has enough room to carry most of everything on my list- except that 3 course meal. (She can carry her own lunch bag if necessary.) I leave things like extra clothing for the older kids in the emergency bag in my car at all times, so bringing just the essentials keeps me prepared but in a minimal way. There are compartments on either side for closed beverages, an outer pocket for keys, phone, and wallet, inner storage pockets, and a large inner compartment. The stylish quilted bag doesn’t look like a diaper bag, but has all the pockets and slots a diaper bag should have, plus it includes a changing mat.

So far, I’m happy with the TWELVElittle Companion diaper bag, and hubby doesn’t mind toting it around either. It comes in teal, plum, and black – which are all fun trendy colors. You can find out more by visiting TWELVElittle and following them on Facebook. The TWELVElittle Companion backpack retails for $195 and is sold on Amazon, Babies R Us, BuyBuyBaby, and other retailers.
This is such a beautiful bag. I love that it is a backpack so you have use of both hands.
I’m expecting my 4th and this bag looks great! I love the teal color.
