The Chicco Urban Stroller Goes Where We Go

By baby #3, I already know what I want when it comes to a stroller. The only problem is I can’t always find all the features I expect in one package- so I have multiple strollers that get me through various tasks. Not everyone has the space for multiple strollers (as I had to listen to constant complaints from my husband) but finding one that meets all my needs is rare. It wasn’t until I met the Chicco Urban that I found just about everything I was looking for, with the exception of bring lightweight and having an umbrella fold. Let me tell you a little about it.

 

The Chicco Urban is a full size stroller that grows with your baby from birth and up. Whether you are looking for a bassinet-style stroller or an easy way of moving your infant from the car to the stroller, the Chicco Urban gives you options. Included in the package is the base that fits the Chicco KeyFit 30. The car seat is not included, but since I the Chicco KeyFit30 was my top infant car seat choice, I already had it. Moving my sleeping baby from the car to the stroller is easy and quick, with a simple snap and we are ready to go!

When I know my son will be in the stroller for a longer period of time, I put him right into the stroller seat. It reclines well and even turns into a bassinet when he falls asleep. The best part is there is nothing more to purchase for the Chicco Urban. Once my little one is ready to sit and stay awake long enough to enjoy walks to pick up his sisters, a few snaps is all it takes to turn the bassinet seat into a toddler seat. I can face him forward or face him in my direction, which is an added plus. The extra large canopy is something you don’t see in many strollers, and is a wonderful addition and definitely a necessity. I love that Chicco includes extras in their products- the Chicco Urban stroller includes a foot-muff to keep baby warm in cooler weather.

The large basket is perfect for a diaper bag or a few groceries, and the one-push break is easy to engage. Not everyone who pushes the stroller is the same height, so the quick and easy height adjustment is welcomed. My husband is almost a foot taller than me and he needs a longer handle. Folding the stroller took a little more effort, but once I figured out I need to push the release button located in the middle of the stroller (in the circle) everything else came easy.

While the Chicco Urban is considered a full-size stroller, it does have a slimmer design than others, but it is not lightweight. I don’t mind- since it goes from the trunk of my car to the street with ease, and I don’t ever have to carry it anywhere. You can find out more by visiting Chicco.
