My little girls are getting a room makeover and theme change. When I had my first daughter, I kept the theme neutral in her room because I wasn’t sure if I would have more than one child sharing a room. Now my oldest is showing preferences for certain characters and styles, but my little one is still a baby – so I get to choose a style for her! I’ve thought about various themes, and the two that stuck out the most were butterflies and owls. I’ve loved butterflies for my second baby ever since I brought her home from the hospital. We were surrounded by butterflies and yes, it was just as majestic as it sounds, and it is something that will always remind me of the time she joined our family. We already have purple butterflies on her wall, so when I saw the Taggies Owl Collection bedding set by Kids II (the people over at Bright Starts) I knew it would be a great combination of both themes I love.
The features friendly owls, and vibrant colors in pinks and greens. The various textures that run throughout the comforter are great sensory tools for baby. Although you may not use the comforter to cover baby at first, it can be used for tummy time and play time. The bedding set includes the comforter, crib sheet, dust ruffle, and diaper stacker. If you want to purchase items to coordinate the entire nursery, there is also the Secure-Me Crib Bumper, Secure Me Liner, Window Valance, Musical Mobile, Lamp, Wall Decals, and Wall art – each sold separately. There is also an applique blanket that is just precious! You can view the adorable collection by visiting Kids II.
Since my little one has grown out of the infant stage and has started to show preference for things, I did notice an interest when I showed her the new bedding set. She sat in her crib quietly poking the polka dots on her sheet, and playing with the tags on her comforter. I plan on purchasing other items to complete her room from the Taggies Owl Collection, which can be purchased at Buy Buy Baby!

All their sets have coordinating bedroom accessories and can also be mixed and matched with other themes and colors. You can find out more by visiting Kids II and by connecting with Taggies on Facebook
