Can you believe February is almost over? It’s a short month, so it’s pretty much gone before it even starts, but one thing I know a lot of people are looking forward to at the end of February is SPRING! Oh, and the Oscars! I love any reason to celebrate, have the girls over, and enjoy some yummy treats, so why not have an Oscar party? Besides, I should have a front row seat being that I am the mother of the toddler who must receive the award for “Best Drama of 2012.” Yes, she’s a diva, and no, she won’t be attending mommy’s big girl party, even if we do honor her title.
So, on to the party planning! I sent out a mass text to my closest girls, and within seconds they all replied that they will be attending. We SO need this girls night in, can you tell? Then I went on to tell them that Skinnygirls Cocktails will be sponsoring our cocktails and snacks for the evening, and everyone will be going home with some Skinnygirl swag! Being that it’s only February, most of us are still on this “I will lose the last of this baby fat, even if it means I spend all my calories on chocolate and bacon” kick. I know I am, so I’m happy to see that my Skinnygirls cocktails contain only 100 calories per serving. But please, ladies, that doesn’t mean you should starve yourself and have 15 drinks to stay within your caloric needs for the day, so please drink responsibly when partying with Skinnygirls cocktails!

I love watching the red carpet shows but never can seem to stay away for the whole oscar show.
