My love for photography has increased since I have had children, and I’m even considering taking a photo class to learn the ins and outs of using my Nikon D3100 DSLR camera. I’m finally comfortable taking it out of auto and using it the way Nikon intended it to be used! I get so excited when I take a photo of my girls and it is better than anything I thought I was even capable of taking. I love to check out online tutorials of how to adjust my camera settings to achieve the look I’m going for in the picture.
I’m no expert, and I have a long way to go before I am completely comfortable with all the settings on my camera, but I’m happy that I am on my way to achieving the same results as a professional photographer when it comes to photographing my own kids.
Photographer, author and educator Erin Manning provides her Top 3 Tips for capturing better baby photos. Erin gives you advice on setting the scene and getting close to the baby for those perfect images, as well as using a SanDisk Ultra SDHC card to make sure she never misses a shot.
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for SanDisk. I received a product sample to thank me for participating
