It seems the theme of the season is “uncommon” gift ideas. While it is easy to walk into a store and buy your mom the first ugly holiday sweater you see “just because,” I prefer to give gifts that people would actually use AND enjoy. The Bonsai Forest that I received includes: tree and moss seed, recycled steel seedling training pots, seed starting wafers, growing medium, bonsai scissors, rake with spade, river stone, and directions. The Bonsai Forest will begin to sprout in a few weeks. Image shows 3 year old forest. Can be placed outside if season and location provide sun and water conditions specified. Mold may occur without ventilation, make sure airflow is maintained through plastic wrap or bag. Please note: the kit comes with 2 types of seed, moss seed and tree seed. Each has its own step within the instructions included with this item.
The Hanging Air Plant Pod that I received to review is perfect for people who like the look of plants in their home but just don’t seem to have any luck with plants – people like me. The Hanging Air Plant Pod is very low maintenance. Note: The Air Plant is not included, just the unglazed Moroccan brown planters come in the package. These can be propped on any countertop or suspended using the included cord. No dirt is required and watering is minimal.
