This week was a tough one. The main reason was I had a busy weekend involving going out and also having a BBQ at my house on both Saturday and Sunday. I tried to eat sensible on both days but I can’t lie…I definitely overdid it with food those two days. I felt really bad and decided to weigh myself on Tuesday just out of curiosity and to my dismay I actually gained two pounds! I decided to continue on with even more motivation considering that I was able to gain two pounds so fast. By the end of the week at the weigh in I came in at 234 lbs. Considering the extra 2 pounds I gained, I was still able to end the week at a net loss.
I’m finding that when I do overeat, I feel very uncomfortable. When I would overindulge before starting Nutrisystem, I just felt full. Now that I have trained myself to eat less food, I feel sick when I overeat. The guilt that comes along with cheating on my diet and the way I feel makes me realize that I am already on my way to a healthier overall lifestyle. I know once I’m off Nutrisystem, it is up to me to gauge my meal sizes and menu options. I feel that Nutrisystem has equipped me with the tools I need to continue my weight loss journey, even after I’m no longer using their plan.
