My husband and I decided in March that we would take a healthier approach to our lifestyle by limiting certain foods. Combined, we’ve lost over 50 pounds and generally feel better, have more energy, and see food differently. While we are constantly reminded of the reward of satisfying our taste buds, we’re also faced with the reward of feeling better and keeping our caloric intake low. We generally can’t have it both ways, we need to make that choice at every meal, but we do have a few tricks up our sleeves where we can still indulge in sweet treats without feeling guilty after.
We discovered Arctic Zero ice cream through Moms Meet and had the opportunity to try a few flavors, but I also noticed it when shopping on Amazon Fresh and looking for lower calorie ice creams. In case you didn’t know, it IS possible to have a lower calorie ice cream and stay within your caloric needs, but did Arctic Zero pass our taste test? You’ll find out soon.. We were sent some interesting flavors and my husband and I have differing opinions when it comes to which we loved most. This is why you need to try Arctic Zero for yourself!
Each pint of Arctic Zero Ice cream has about 150 calories.. FOR. THE. ENTIRE. PINT! Each serving is around 35 calories. It’s magic! We were sent some interesting flavors and my husband and I have differing opinions when it comes to which we loved most. This is why you need to try Arctic Zero for yourself!
The first flavor we tried was Cherry Chocolate Chunk and this one made a great first impression. Personally, chunks of flavor in my ice cream are what satisfies me the most, so I was happy to see that Arctic Zero had some creamy flavors and some flavors that included pieces of yummy goodness. Peanut Butter Swirl was decent, but Rocky Road Trip was a little disappointing. It almost reminded me of chocolate ice and lacked the creaminess the other flavors offered. Cookie Shake and Cake Batter were my personal favorites and Salted Caramel just didn’t do it for either of us. As with any ice cream, everyone has their personal favorite that tickles their tastebuds, so be sure to check out their wide array of products at Arctic Zero to find your favorite. Each pint is around $5 and available at a variety of grocery stores. Arctic Zero ice creams are Lactose free, Low glycemic, Low sugar, Naturally sweetened, No artificial ingredients, No sugar alcohols, rBST free, and contain Whey Protein.
