My toddler was always very independent and wanted to walk on her own and not be held. Just recently she started to ask me to hold her while we are at the super market or walking around. She is only 25 pounds, which doesn’t seem like much – but after a few minutes of holding her she feels more like 50 pounds. She is too big for most baby carriers, but these wouldn’t help much either because she will ask to be put down and then picked back up multiple times.
