Any seasoned mom will tell you that you really don’t need all that gear you initially believed you needed when you create your baby registry. After having baby #2, I have put a lot of things in perspective: splurge on a sturdy stroller if you plan on having more than one baby, don’t invest too much in gear that will only last you 3 months, and if you are low on space, look into space saving options when it comes to baby gear.
My toddler loves being a part of taking care of my infant, so when meal time comes along, she wants to be part of it. I decided to get a seat that can be used on the floor so the girls can interact, but I was not happy with the seat I had purchased. I felt that my infant outgrew it way before the manufacturer’s recommended age, and these seats aren’t cheap! I wasn’t too happy when my infant decided she no longer wanted to sit in it (after just a few days of use.)
When the people over at Mamas & Papas sent me over their Baby Snug to review, I had hopes that this seat would be in line with the high standards the company holds. After taking it out of the box, I was already impressed. The Baby Snug comes with an extra insert that can be removed to accommodate a growing baby. The feeding/playing tray actually comes standard with this seat, so there is no need to purchase additional accessories for the Baby Snug. Retailing at $59.99, I think this is a great buy because of it’s versatility and simple features. It is very easy to clean, made out of durable plastic, and provides support for children ages 3 months and up. The seat is portable and easy to move indoors and outdoors.
The Baby Snug is not meant to be used on chairs, tables, or any surface other than a level floor. There are no straps to hold baby in place, nor are their straps to safely harness it on a chair. It’s a simple, easy to use and clean floor seat where your child can sit and play, eat, and learn! You can find The Snug at your local baby store or Amazon in Teal, Raspberry, Apple, and Plum.
You can find out more by visiting Mamas & Papas and by joining their online community on Facebook and Twitter.
Looks like it works great!
Love this. I’ll have to bookmark it for when I have my baby.
My friend has this and loves it!
What a nice way to keep little unsteady sitters from toppling over!
Gus still needs a little support to sit. This would be perfect!
Those are neat – we never had a seat like that for our daughter, we always just propped her car seat up, or moved the high chair around.
The extra insert is such a genius idea! I know my big chunkers outgrew their similar seats all too fast due to their size.
That looks awesome!
This looks really cute!
Very cute!
I’d loved this when my son was little.
