Come Over and Play With Peppa Pig and Friends!

Have you heard? Peppa Pig is all the rage amongst preschoolers! Everyone has their favorite character, Suzy Sheep being my preschooler’s fave, and George Pig being my toddler’s favorite. I always thought that Peppa Pig was a “just for fun” TV show as opposed to an educational show, but last month my oldest daughter said something that completely blew my mind, and when I asked her if she learned that in school, she replied that she actually heard it from Peppa Pig! So, life lessons can also be taught on the show, along with the fun characters who portray someone our children can associate to real life friends and family.

Last year, my preschooler received the Peppa Pig Peek n’ Surprise Playhouse. When I signed up for this awesome blog tour with Peppa Pig, I didn’t realize that we already had the same exact item. It just so happened that when I opened the shipping box and my daughter realized we already had it, she thought back to a conversation we had earlier in the week about Toys for Tots. A few days prior to receiving the Peppa Pig Peek n’ Surprise Playhouse, I was telling my daughter about children who are less fortunate. She has already been exposed to charity work, and we often look through our old clothes and barely used toys to donate to a local shelter. I was completely amazed when my daughter told me that since we already had the Peppa Pig play set, we could give the new, unopened one to a child who doesn’t have toys this year. Seriously, I have one amazing kiddo over here.

So, we put the play set to the side and it will be donated this week along with other toys and new clothes to children who are less fortunate.

The review below is based on the set we already have- As you can see, the play house comes with 4 rooms and all the decor, appliances, and furniture the room will need.There are bunk beds for Peppa and brother George, along with a bath tub, table, and couch. The set is a perfect size for at home pretend play with friends, and for on the go fun all the pieces fit neatly inside the play house, the house closes, and has a carrying handle right up on top! There are so many toys that come and go, but this is one toy that has lasted us for a whole year. We’ve lost a few pieces along the way, but always manage to find them at the bottom of the toy box. My youngest daughter, who was too young to play with the set last year, has had a lot of fun identifying the characters and playing with the Peppa Pig Peek n’ Play Surprise Playhouse with her big sister.
