Gearing up for the fall with KEEN toddler boots

My toddler is obsessed with muddy puddles thanks to Peppa Pig. When it is raining outside she begs to go out in her rain boots so she can step in muddy puddles. I let her do this once, thinking it would curb her desire to do it again, but she loved it. This is the same child that didn’t get her hands dirty dying eggs while all the other kids were covered in egg dyes. Let’s not forget the pumpkin painting event where she freaked every time her hands touched wet paint by accident. She doesn’t like getting dirty, to say the least!

So, she has rain boots, but they are too clunky to play in for everyday cold weather. She just got a pair of KEEN Darby boots and her initial reaction was “I DON’T WANT BLACK BOOTS!” Yes, she is quite the fashion diva! After I turned them around to show her there was some pink on them (her fav color) she couldn’t wait to get them on her feet. Although I couldn’t try them on myself, they look very comfortable and she wore them for a while during play time. She didn’t want to take them off!

The boot features a supportive insole and a thick sole to cushion every step my toddler makes. The easy to clean leather can be wiped down with a damp cloth. There are three colors to choose from: black with a pink collar, java, and sweet grape. I love that her black boots go great with any outfit, whether we are going out for a casual dinner or some park play. The side of the boot unzips for easy on and off. I love everything about this boot, especially for a toddler’s developing foot. I value children’s footwear for this reason and feel KEEN products are high quality yet rugged for that tough tot!
