There’s a lot going on in our household this month. We’ve been renovating, packing, and waiting to move. My daughter has started school in our new neighborhood despite still living in our old neighborhood, so our days are spent in the car and convenience meals have taken over our lives. It’s been tough on our whole family, but we know that soon we will be living in a great neighborhood and in a much bigger house.
By the time I get home with the girls, it’s bath time, dinner time, and then bed time. There just aren’t enough hours in the day! I try to keep our meals healthy and I am sure to include fruits and veggies during meal time. My daughters love French fries and I can’t blame them- their mama is a French fry fanatic! My favorites are curly fries and waffle fries, and my girls love sweet potato fries dipped in cool cucumber yogurt sauce (think tzatziki).
McCain is a favorite in our household because its a brand that my mom trusted when I was growing up. Since then, McCain has expanded their product line to include many potato varieties that everyone in the family will love. What I love most about McCain is that they are the perfect addition to any meal! When my daughter comes home from school she needs a snack to hold her over until dinner time. I usually make her something fun and homemade, like chicken and pepper quesadillas or turkey burger sliders, but today she asked for chicken nuggets, which are organic and chemical free. Paired with some crunchy raw green beans and McCain zesties, this is a fun and easy meal that children love!
