I’m not a big-meal kinda girl. I’m more of a snacker and would prefer to snack throughout the day than to sit down and have a filling meal. I don’t like the over-full feeling when I have big meals and I find my energy is better when I have smaller meals because I don’t get slowed down by that heavy after-feeling of being stuffed! My only problem with snacking lately is that I haven’t been reaching for the healthier snacks. I’m not too sure what happened between then and now, but I’m lucky if I can find carrots in my fridge, let alone some healthy, fresh produce. Why the change? Well, once I got pregnant with baby #2, I had a hard time with smells and textures of foods. I also didn’t sleep much, making me extremely tired during the day, that I would just reach for the convenience foods. I felt bad handing my toddler snacks that I knew weren’t the best choices, but I would try to make up for it during meal time. Now that our routine is starting to get back to normal, I have been trying to change our snacking habits. I want an overall healthy lifestyle, not just healthy snacking options. I love the taste of popcorn!! OrvilleRedenbacher is the best around it is what I grew up on.. I love regular,kettle corn, buttered, caramel, cheddar, white cheddar, vanilla cinnamon!
