The first thing my girls ask for in the morning is smoothies. They love picking out their ingredients and watching everything swirl together in a frothy, sweet drink that I couldn't be happier their would drink. Sometimes, when they aren't looking, I even get to throw in some baby kale or spinach and tell them it's a magical mixture! It wasn't always so easy to make perfect smoothies. When I had my first daughter, I had a typical, run of the ...

Taking A Time Out for Mommy With #TheSecretSociety Hidden Object Game
It's very rare that I get me time where my eyes are still open and I get to enjoy some time to myself. After checking out the new G5 game, The Secret Society, I find myself craving me time so I can unwind with this fun hidden object game. This hidden object game is unlike any other I have played before- it constantly changes and increases in difficulty, so I don't get bored. Plus, it's FREE. Black + Decker Mill & Brew Coffee Maker #HolidayGiftGuide2014
About two years ago I was introduced to whole bean coffee. When using my single cup coffee maker, I would grind the beans in a food processor and fill up a reusable filter. The flavor from whole bean coffee is unlike any other coffee I have ever tasted. I love the freshness, but the two step process can be a bit annoying, especially when I need to brew coffee for multiple guests at a time. Thankfully Black + Decker had consumers like me in ...
Enhance Their Sewing Skills With This Fun Kit!
This holiday season there are a ton of toys on my oldest daughter’s wish list. I don’t know a child in her age group that would ask for anything but toys, and even though we love to keep the fun in the holidays, I also want to give her something that can enhance her skills. She is very crafty and works well with her hands, so I would love to introduce sewing to her someday soon. Growing up, my mother and grandmother set up a great foundation for ...
Keep Your Little Ones Protected From RSV This Season #MC, #RSVAwareness #PreemieProtection
Cold and flu season is upon us and one virus that always worries me this time of year is RSV. My oldest daughter had RSV right after her first birthday and it was one of the scariest viruses she had. Unlike roseola which ran its course and went away, RSV threatened to linger for weeks, causing upper respiratory distress, persistent coughing, excess mucous, fever, and a lot of lost sleep. I stayed up nights watching my baby have a hard time ...

You've heard the news: Maleficent will be arriving on DVD/BluRay combo pack on November 4th! The seemingly worst Disney Villain is telling her own version of the Sleeping Beauty story in this amazing film featuring Angelina Jolie. If you haven't seen the film, look away because I'm totally spoiling the movie in this post. It all started when Maleficent and Stefan, although from different worlds, fall in love. Stefan knows the only way for him ...
