I really strive to be a domestic goddess… but then reality sets in and I realize that at the end of the day, my house is upside down, the kids are a mess, and some days, I have to choose between my sanity and cooking a dinner that everyone in the family will eat. Don’t get me wrong- I LOVE cooking. It’s one of my passions that has fallen by the wayside ever since I had my first baby. Before her, I would cook just about every night, and dinner was always exciting- from homemade ravioli to traditional Greek dishes- our bellies were always happy.
These days- a quick grilled chicken on top of pasta, or burgers have become the norm. We are on a first name basis with the food delivery guy since he started showing up regularly right before baby #2 made her appearance. While my husband loves variety when I’m cooking, I notice that he always orders the same thing from the same place when we decide to order in. Delivery.com makes it easy to pick any cuisine and sort through local restaurants. Their easy-to-use site is also available as an app for smart phones, so you have easy-access to your neighborhood eats! What I love most about Delivery.com is that you earn point for each order you place, which translates to gift cards and discounts on your subsequent orders!
The downside about Delivery.com? There are TOO many options here in NYC! Sometimes, choosing a restaurant to order from is half the battle. I love that I can even customize my orders from the Delivery.com website or app. I rarely order something straightforward and I love that the app or site allows me to make the adjustments I need to my meal without having to place a phone call.
Ordering in tonight? Check out Delivery.com to see what restaurants are participating in your area!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
We eat out at least once a week. I try to cook as much as possible but it seems like there is always that one night that is super busy. I’ll have to check this service out.
The only thing around here that delivers is pizza. I wish we had more options.
