Move out of the way mom and dad – when it comes to grandma, Mother’s Day is all about the grandkids. Each year my mom and mother in law look forward to getting their annual flowers to plant in the yard as well as new pictures of their (ahem) ADORABLE grandchildren. The problem: I’m horrible about printing photos. I take photos of my kids all the time, and try to capture all their photo-worthy memories, but I find that with 500+ images, it’s a bit daunting to weed through them and print the best ones. (Because they are ALL the best, of course!)
So, for Mother’s Day this year, my mother in law has requested her own camera. She wants to take her own pictures so that she can print them herself, and quite honestly, I don’t blame her! With digital cameras dropping to affordable prices, there is no reason why everyone shouldn’t have their own. There are so many memory-making occasions coming up, such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations, and more, that now is the time to get a camera if you don’t have one already. My hubby swears by his camera phone, but in all honesty, the phone does not take the pictures that a digital camera does. The quality and options just aren’t available, and I prefer to have a separate camera – especially for Spring Memories.
