I feel like I’m always on the go. From the moment I wake up my schedule is busy- I have to feed my girls, get them ready, pack the diaper bag, and prepare for an afternoon out of the house. I often find myself forgetting to eat because I’m so wrapped up in making sure the girls are fed and I’m usually the one eating a snack bar in the car on our way to swimming lessons or mommy and me classes. By the time we get home, it’s lunch time and again, feed the girls and start preparing for dinner.
Skipping meals isn’t an option for me because I am nursing my infant and it is important to maintain my food intake and calories throughout the day. Most days I need quick and simple meals that can be made in a pinch. I’m not into pre-packaged, heavily processed foods so when I heard about Barilla Microwaveable meals I was a little hesitant about trying them. Once I did a little research at Barilla, I found out that they only include NATURAL ingredients. No MSG, not High Fructose Corn Syrup, no preservatives, chemicals, additives, artificial colors, flavors.. well, you get the point. And to top it all off, they weigh in at under 350 calories per serving!
I tend to watch what I put in my body, not only for my nursling, but also for myself. I feel awful when I eat processed foods and there is no time for belly aches in my busy schedule! I feel good about eating Barilla Microwaveable meals because they are healthy, tasty, and easy to make. I can even toss one in the diaper bag to make while my little one is in a lesson!
We were already Barilla fans to begin with, so it seems only natural to enjoy their authentic tasting meals and have some stocked up in the pantry for those days that don’t have enough hours to cook. You can learn more by visting Barilla on Facebook!
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consultingon behalf of Barilla and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

Those look good, I hope to try them soon.
This looks good but I’ll have to check out the sodium levels. That’s what I hate the most about quick meals. They sodium level is too much.
