I was so excited when we moved to have a central heating and air system. I loved the idea of having a quiet unit and no baseboards or heaters taking up room in our home. Then it occurred to me- when one person gets sick in the house, we might all get sick because the air is circulated throughout the house. All vents lead to the main unit where the air gets redistributed. This can't be a good thing! Then my heating guy reassured me that as long ...

Work that Camera like a pro with Lightscoop!
My photography skills have come a long way since owning my first film camera. I've since upgraded to many point and shoot cameras and my pride and joy, a Nikon DSLR. When I first got my Nikon I shot in automatic. Two years later I took the plunge and decided it was time to learn what this amazing machine could do. It's been over a year of understanding how my camera works, and my shots get more and more amazing each time. I invested in a 50mm ...
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Super Adventure Review

She simply cannot get enough, from the time she wakes up in the morning to falling asleep watching her favorite character, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is always on her mind. I can't live without my warm beverages in the winter. Whether it is a warm cup of chai tea or some rich hot cocoa, I always find a moment of "me time" in the perfect cup. Last year I came across Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa from Grove Square and there was no turning back. I love chocolate but it has to be the RIGHT chocolate, and it always has to be dark, so when I found a dark hot cocoa, I knew it was made just for chocolate snobs like me! The dark ...
Shark Rocket Vacuum Review #Holiday 2013
During our moving process I purged A LOT of things, including an old bulky vacuum and a DustBuster. My husband fought tooth and nail to keep our dirty old DustBuster but I wasn't having it. It smelled. It was hard to clean. The battery lasted for 53 seconds. It was time for it to go. The vacuum we got rid of was a bagged vacuum that smelled like something was burning each time we turned it on. I needed to find something that better suited our ...
Things To Consider Before Banking Your Child’s Cord Blood #CordBlood411 #MC #sponsored
Cord Blood banking seems to be a hot topic these days. Should you or shouldn't you bank your child's cord blood is the big question. I was caught in the same web of questions when I was pregnant with my first, and decided to bank her cord blood. I knew the chances of her using her own cord blood down the road were slim, but I thought that maybe someone in the family could benefit. With my second child it was a no-brainer; we were going to bank ...
